Job Description:

Experienced machine operator with the ability to run multiple waterjet machines on a continuous basis and can identify and resolve problems during a production run, read drawings, and inspect parts on a daily basis using various types of inspection equipment. Must be able to work efficiently in a team environment that is fast paced with a strong commitment and accountability.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Set up and switch jobs as required
  • Load and unload parts
  • Minor machine maintenance
  • Identify process problems and communicate problems
  • Verify all parts are conforming before signing off on traveler
  • Keep track of all scrap
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Perform miscellaneous duties assigned
  • Function effectively within a team environment
  • Maintain an excellent attendance record
  • Daily communication with co-workers, supervisors, and across shifts

 

Requirements:

  • Must have previous machine operator experience or education/training in machining with 2+ years preferred
  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Be able to write and document information clearly
  • Must have a general understanding of ISO and its process within the company
  • Must be able to run parts to spec on a daily basis on multiple machines
  • Must be able to read part drawings
  • Must be able to use and read micrometers and calipers accurately
  • Must be able to calculate dimensions and tolerances
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English
  • Perform any other task as needed by the company
  • Experience with conventional milling, grinding, and turning is a plus

 

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and communicate.
  • The employee must frequently lift or move up to 35 pounds.

Position Description:

We are growing rapidly, and looking for an Inside Sales Representative to expand our customer base. The ideal individual will be a dynamic team player that has passion for winning new business, outstanding attitude, and passion for work. The primary responsibility is to grow revenues through proactive outbound phone calls to new customer contacts, as well as expanding business with existing customer contacts. This position will be a base salary plus an uncapped commission potential.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Grow revenue through outbound cold-calling to target accounts to establish new customer business.
  • Prospect, identify, generate interest, broadcast company capabilities, target new contacts within current customer base – This will make up 90% of the daily activities.
  • Develop/maintain strong relationships with senior level key decision makers. This will typically be engineers, procurement, supply chain, and executive management.
  • Serve as company contact person for establishing leads, prospects and customers on all pre-sales activities
  • Achieve/Exceed revenue goals
  • Meet or exceed outbound call metrics
  • Maintain complete and comprehensive contact records

 

Primary Requirements:

  • 2+ years of proven business to business sales experience
  • Must have an outgoing sales personality and sales instinct
  • Previous inside sales experience selling machining services
  • Capable of questioning in an effective manner to understand customer needs.
  • Self-starter with a strong desire to succeed and win
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Confident verbal and written communication skills, across different levels of business professionals
  • Ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere
  • Independent, dependable, resourceful and self-motivated
  • Proven professional business correspondence and relationship building skills
  • Capable of questioning in an effective manner to understand customer needs.
  • MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong comfort level with technology, technical degree preferred.
